What is the difference between torque and speed versions?
Some EUCs in our catalog have two versions: a speed and a torque version.
- The torque version has a motor designed for greater acceleration/deceleration(aka torque) at the expense of top speed. Unless you plan to exceed ~34mph, we find that the torque version is better in most use cases.
- The speed version is manufactured to allow for a higher top speed, but at the expense of acceleration and deceleration. If you want to go very fast(34mph+) and desire a wide safety margin before overspeeding the wheel, the speed version is for you.
