My EUC doesn't charge to full?
This issue can be caused by either the charger or a battery pack.
The charger can be checked with a multimeter, in case you have access to one. If you have access to another charger, you can see if the unit charges to full as well.
Typically, if there is a faulty battery pack, only 1 pack will fail. You can find out which pack is preventing charging by following these steps:
- Plug in the charger to the wheel, and wait until the status light turns green.
- Unplug the charge wire from one pack. If the charger activates and turns the status light red, then the unplugged pack is the bad pack. If it does not, re-plug that pack in and try again on another pack.
- GW/BG EUCs: the charge wire is the small yellow connector(XT30)
- IM V11: unplug the medium size connector going to the driver board
- Other IM EUCs: unplug the small connector going from the battery to the charge port
- KS S18: The rear packs only charge together. You can check in this configuration: FL, FL, BR+BL
- Other KS EUCs: unplug the battery
- Do this for all battery packs until you find the pack that is preventing charge.
