InMotion App Trouble?

Are you having issues with the InMotion App? If you are experiencing problems connecting your smartphone, account registration or login, bugs, or unexpected behavior, the first thing you can do is check your operating system's permissions for the InMotion App.

InMotion's app asks for various system-level permissions when installed. These are not meant to scrape data from your device, and they're needed for many of the app's features to work properly. Disallowing any number of the permissions asked can lead to failed connectivity, general bugs, and failures of features to work properly. This is a more frequent problem for Android-powered devices. Please double-check your settings to see if any permissions are unchecked.

InMotion also periodically updates the app/servers on their end. During this time you'll be unable to connect to your unit. We don't have a schedule for these updates and recommend trying the app again in a couple of hours. If you're still having an issue, the cause could be something else.
