Audio / sound is not working on my electric unicycle

The following troubleshooting guide applies to system sound effects for Glide Series Solowheel, InMotion V5, V8, V10, V11, and V12 Electric Unicycles. 

1. Connect to the InMotion App

First, let's connect the wheel to the app and go to the Features Settings.

2. Check Volume Slider

Make sure the Volume slider in the Features Settings is not turned all the way down to silent.

3. Is Your Sound Profile Set To "On"?

Back at the top of the Features page, find the Sound Customization Settings. Here you will see a list of preset sound profile albums with your currently loaded album listed at the top. Make sure it hasn't been turned off.

4. Re-Load Sound Profile Album

If everything seems to be set properly, and you still aren't hearing sounds, you should try re-loading your desired album. It's possible certain conditions or recent repair could have cleared your album from the memory, and you'll need to transfer it to your wheel again.

On your chosen album, first choose "Download" if necessary, and then "Apply" to initiate the transfer to your wheel. This may take a few moments. 

NOTE: If the transfer fails and you get an error message, please try this process again with the motor disengaged and resting on the edge of the case as described below:

  • Activate the anti-spin button underneath the handle. While the motor is deactivated, lean the wheel forward and rest it on the edge of the case on a perfectly flat surface. The wheel should be balancing without your assistance.
